In a moment, a moment remembered

In a moment, history paused - a click, a shutter opened and closed - done
That moment is now history suspended for the future - to see it, as it is - as it was
In a moment, history paused - a scream, a yell, a heart broken - all recorded
That moment is now history frozen for an individual - to reflect on - at any instance
Instantly, that pain can be realized again and again
Suddenly, tears travel a course once traveled before
Suddenly, a heart breaks again, over the residence of a scar

What of love? I beg your perspective! I beg - for an answer!
Why allow this repetition to circle infinitely?
Moments passed, never passed - never left behind

In a moment, a sojourn of time: an argument, then loneliness, then aching arms - saved
Reflections now relived - daily, nightly - always
A moment alone replays horrible memoirs
In a moment, a split second: the impact of words - on a heart radiate - pain.
Survived within, yet unwanted
Every second, minute, hour, day, or week – relived, over again
Suddenly, time holds no grounds, because that moment - is fresh, again
Suddenly, a moment past - is relived, as though it was the first time

What of me? Where do I belong in this - deathly - theatrical production?
Why am I - ignored? Why, am I - again crying in the corner?
Demolished from years past – chronicled hate
Moments gone; haunt a scarred heart - yesterday today

Loneliness begs my company. She screams - unheard, except by me
”Share my pain” she begs
“Feel as my twin soul - agony”
Her pleas reach out, drawing on my trapped annals
Pain, broken hearts, scarred memories - my souls’ anthology

Please - love me
Please, love me - please

Whispers unheard, ever recorded
Ne’er stopped, forever unwanted.

Where is the shutter now? Where - are you?
Hear my plea; see my tears, share - my pain -
please

Making reality, reality.

You’ve heard the jokes where a man was in the ocean and as he was wading in the water, he began to pray for God to save him. If not, here’s a little refresher.

A man attempting to reach over the side of a ship suddenly fell without anyone noticing, due to it being late at night. After about an hour, a boat came by him and the captain asked if the man wanted to come aboard. The man in the water said, “No thanks, I’ve prayed and I believe that God will save me.” So the captain of the boat hesitantly sailed on.

Again, a few hours later, a Cruiseliner is close by and the Captain of the ship asks the man in the water if he wanted to board the ship. Again, the man responds, “No thanks, I’ve prayed to God and believe he will save me.” This Captain again hesitantly sails on.

Finally, a helicopter is travelling the area and spots the man in the water. The Pilot asks the man in the water if he needs help and to board the helicopter. Again, the man in the water responds, “No thanks, I’ve prayed to God and believe he will save me.”

As we all know, the man dies in the water and finds himself in Heaven at the footrest of Gods throne. He cries to God, pleading, “Father, I prayed and believed you would save me, and here I am, after having died. Where were you Father, when I needed you most?”

God responds to the man, “Son, I heard your prayer and know you believed enough that I sent you a boat. You denied the help I sent, once. Again I heard the cries you sent and again I sent you a Cruise Liner and yet again, you denied the second time I sent you help. My son, you again prayed and your faith reached me, so I sent you a helicopter and you again denied the help I sent. I love you enough that even after you didn’t accept my love and help; here you stand in the Heaven I’ve created for all my children, for all eternity.”

Most often, people hear this parable and don’t fully realize the meaning. We hear every day that we should ask for that which we want. We have been told to also believe, that faith as little as a mustard seed can move mountains. These are all true, however, we need to be able to see that which we asked for and accept it when it happens. We need to be able to receive the blessings we’ve faithfully continued to believe we’d receive.

Learn to accept the blessings that come by us every day. Many times, we don’t realize how or when we’ve turned down a blessing.

How many times have you helped someone with something they needed and when they come back with something in return for the favor you gave, you graciously declined? Already, without realizing it, you’ve blatantly denied receiving the blessing due you. And yet, when things look grim, you wonder why it is you are without.

Again, think and notice the rough times you may have had in the past. Remember when you would complain to your friends, family members, and other loved ones about all the awful things happening to you all the time? Did you not notice how things compounded; suddenly bad things just wouldn’t stop happening, until you somehow found something to be joyous about?Little do we realize how we cause our feelings and inner most fears to become our realities.

Wherever your faith lies-the plain truth is that whatever you dwell on the most, whether it is more awful and sad times, or getting something you wanted in a job, for your home or for your family-that is what you receive.

Remember that phrase everyone seems to speak when things economically are on the decline?

The Rich get richer while the Poor get poorer!”

You can’t believe how true that is. But do you realize why it’s true? It’s not because it-simply-is the way things are. No, that is not the definitive answer. The reality is that the rich continue to find wealth because they cause wealth to manifest and the poor continue to get even poorer because those living in that lifestyle ask, in their own hearts, for poverty to manifest in their lives.

How do poor people do this? I’m not saying poor people want to be poor, that isn’t how it happens. Those living in poverty remain in poverty because they dwell on that kind of lifestyle, each and every time they vocally, emotionally, and spiritually complain about it. They verbalize their own reality using phrases like the earlier mentioned.

In contrast, the greedy and wealthy dwell on making more of what they already have. They cause this to manifest in their lives. It’s not God pouring blessings on the rich and curses on the poor. It’s our own thoughts bringing whatever it is we desire into reality. It's that simple.

Sadly, this particular process affects every aspect of our lives. From those we love, lose, and how we perceive ourselves, as well as how others perceive us, to what we own and the wealth, or lack thereof, in our lives. The energy we create by thought becomes our reality.

Do yourself a favor and test this, truth, to prove it right or wrong. I can promise you, somehow you will realize the truth in this. Ironically, if you attempt to prove it false, you've already created that falsehood to manifest into your reality. But if you attempt to manifest the truth of it in your lives, you will already have begun a walk towards more blessings than you can handle.

Chapter 1 - Knowledge

Sometimes it happens during one of those intense periods of thought, other times... it ends up hitting you out of the blue. It's the realization that you must overcome obstacles you've allowed to hold you back in order for growth to reach its current potential. Without allowing the stunted growth to catch up with your current mental state, you can't realize your full potential which is necessary for continued spiritual enlightenment.

There are many religions claiming to harness the correct path to attaining this enlightenment, however, it's the absence of religion with a firm grasp of an open mind which ultimately opens the doorway to begin the journey to spiritual enlightenment. Each one of these religions does in fact have portions of truth necessary for growth, but only enough to catch the attention of ones spiritual self. I believe it's this minute truth which catches the attention of many along with their desire to follow someone or something headed in the direction of truth.

The only problem with this is that many religions use their theology to herd their followers with no intention of allowing them to spread their wings. Many religious leaders become power hungry when they realize the potential of controlling mindless followers. Think about it, how many wars are started because of faith? What kinds of things to people do in the name of religion or "God"?

A right minded survivalist, intent on reaching the fullest potential of physical greatness would not strap a bomb to himself and believe that murdering not only himself, but dozens, if not thousands of others, would result in his inheriting 700 virgins in the afterlife. It's hard enough to find one virgin in the current-life. Additionally, who in their right mind would believe that burning anyone with the unique ability to heal another person with the mere action of thought, at the stake, is the right thing to do during the peak of a plague?

Followers of almost every religion will do utterly everything in the name of "God", and blindly so. In contrast, the so-called leaders of the religion are living it up in mortal luxury, laughing their heads off at the idiotic examples of blind faith acted out around them. There is no limit to the things followers would do in the name of their "God". It's this die-hard attitude that can benefit them if used correctly towards the pursuit of actual truth.

There must be an untying of the blindfolds in order for people to reach genesis in their walk to truth. There is no room for blind faith. Everything necessary for one to continue forward in the walk to truth will be made visible in one form or another. Once a person learns to perceive their surroundings by virtue of their truth, they will realize the amazing happenings surrounding them. Once they open themselves to the reality of physical existence being interrelated to spiritual existence, they will begin to perceive the realities of how spiritual existence not only co-exists with the physical realm, but that both truths are needed for forward momentum.

And forward momentum will eventually lead one to their ...

Iteration of thought.

Genesis

The only real profound truth in this life is the reality of being. Too many are busy doing, while life is passing by without notice. Every once in a while a truth will strike their minds, but only partially. It happens when a forced moment of still happens. Many times, this moment is right before their eyes close to the other dimension of sleep.

It’s tragic how we each find ourselves continuously working to provide our family with the simple necessities of life, as well as a few desires of their hearts. We get caught up in the drive to achieve more. We endure each success and failure with solid confidence in our struggle to attaining our goals. And as we further another step, gaining more, we feel the more we get ahead, the more we fall behind.

After a long day working, our entrance home is greeted with the little ones and our other half. Sometimes a smile is spread across our face, other times we try to hide our inner turmoil. But they know there is something wrong. No matter what we do, they know.

This consistent up and down, left and right, good and bad, success and failure; these push us to search for God, or a faith which can answer the question to why we always feel empty inside. I’ve tried many times to find the truth in "God". I’ve tried searching through many denominations in the Christian faith. I’ve tried to find the truth in leaders, and came up empty handed each time.

I’ve read through the scriptures in several versions; compared and contrasted verses and passages in search for something to help bring me closer to truth. I’ve prayed and meditated. I’ve cried and I've cried out. But each time I did, I found nothing.

I know there has to be something, because there wouldn’t be this – this reality.

Is it to find my own way? Is it to follow my own feelings? But religion teaches us feelings can be wrong, where faith can’t be. I refuse to have faith in someone or something not having enough faith in me to reveal truth. And so I continue to search.

But every now and then, when nothing is running through my mind; when I find myself being, I can feel a partial revelation of this truth. I know there are those reading this who know too this instance. I know for a fact; I am not the only one having this
